This recipe is all about the tomatoes, which I’m pretty sure you’ll have in your kitchen right now (it doesn’t matter particularly on the size). Whip up this super quick nutrient packed face ask for a skin boost!!! Here are the Deetz…
1 salad tomato (2 cherry tomatoes)
1 tbsp. honey
1 tsp. olive oil
Chop up the tomato into small slices and pop them in a bowl with the other ingredients. Give it a stir and you are done! (I’m fully aware this isn’t a very attractive concoction, however it’ll do wonders for your skin). It’s quite tricky keeping all of those large bits of ingredient (tomatoes and oats) on your face, so here’s a great tip… Simply scoop the mixture into your palm and rub it into the face for a good few minutes, make sure you’re taking the pieces of tomato and really working them into the skin. Then leave the residue on the skin for 10 minutes and rinse with warm water. Voila!
Why it works?
The tomatoes are great at removing excess oil from the skin and so are perfect if you particularly suffer from oily skin.
The oats will give a tightening effect to the skin, giving it a smooth and more supple appearance.
The honey provides anti bacterial properties, keeping your skin clean and blemish free.
The olive oil adds moisture, that will contribute to your skins radiance.
